Application Process

Our Radiation Oncology Residency Program participates in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). All applicants are given equal consideration based on merit, regardless of gender, race, origin, or faith.

Applications and Medical Student Performance Evaluations (MSPE - Dean's letter) for 2019-2020 will be accepted from September 15, 2017 to November 1, 2017. Interviews will be conducted betweeen November and February. We schedule all candidates to interview on one of three interview days, and offer an optional resident event and dinner the evening before your interview day. Each application is reviewed and given a score by a committee consisting of faculty and current residents. The applications receiving the highest scores are reviewed again by the committee as a group. Approximately 40 of the top ranking candidates are invited to interview. After interviews are conducted, all candidates found acceptable to the program are ranked, and then entered into the NRMP computer as specified in their policy.
